What happens at the border

1
Prepare your documents
Before you leave Cyprus, check your passport validity (6+ months from entry date), print or save your return ticket, accommodation booking, and travel insurance details. Also arrange a local SIM or eSIM so you have data on arrival.
2
Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport (TLV)
At Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport, follow signs to 'Foreign Passports' after disembarking. Join the queue for non-Israeli passport holders. Have your passport and return ticket ready. The officer may ask about your purpose of visit, where you're staying, and how long you plan to stay.
3
Receive your entry stamp
The immigration officer will stamp your passport with a visitor entry stamp valid for up to 90 days. Keep the stamp visible — you'll need it when leaving. If you overstay, you may face fines or a ban.
