What happens at the border

1
Apply for eTA online
Go to www.etakenya.go.ke, fill in your personal details, upload a passport-style photo, and pay the fee (around $30-50 USD depending on nationality). Submit at least 1 week before travel.
2
Receive eTA approval
You'll get an email with your approved eTA. Print it and save a PDF on your phone. Approval usually takes 3-5 business days, but can be faster.
3
Prepare your documents for departure
Before you leave Cyprus, have your passport, eTA approval, return ticket, and first night's accommodation confirmation ready. Keep them in your carry-on.
4
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) or Moi International Airport (MBA)
After landing, follow signs to 'Immigration' or 'Arrivals'. Join the queue for 'Foreign Passports'. Have your passport and eTA approval ready. The officer will check your documents, take fingerprints, and stamp your passport. This usually takes 10-20 minutes.
5
