Arrive at entry point
At Lilongwe (LLW) or Blantyre (BLZ) airport, follow signs to 'Immigration' or 'Visa on Arrival'. At land borders, go to the immigration office before the passport control queue.

Fill out the visa application form
You'll be given a small form to complete. It asks for basic info: name, passport number, flight details, and where you're staying. Fill it out in black or blue ink.

Pay the visa fee
Hand the form and your passport to the immigration officer. They'll tell you the fee (around 75 USD). Pay in cash. They'll give you a receipt.

Receive your visa sticker
The officer will place a visa sticker in your passport and stamp it. Check that the dates are correct before walking away. The whole process takes 10–20 minutes.

Proceed to passport control
Join the main passport control queue. Show your passport with the visa sticker. You'll be stamped in and can collect your luggage.
