eVisa only valid at airports
Your eVisa is only valid for entry at Yangon, Mandalay, and Naypyidaw international airports. You cannot use it to enter Myanmar by land from Thailand, China, or India.
Travel insurance strongly recommended

Apply for eVisa online
Go to the official Myanmar eVisa website (evisa.moip.gov.mm). Fill in your personal details, passport info, and travel dates. Upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee with a credit or debit card. Processing usually takes 3–5 business days.

Receive and print eVisa
Once approved, you'll get an email with your eVisa approval letter. Print a copy and also save a PDF on your phone. You'll need to show it at check-in and on arrival.

Prepare documents for travel
Before you leave, gather: passport (6+ months validity), printed eVisa, return ticket, first night hotel booking, and travel insurance if you have it. Keep them in your carry-on.

Arrive at Myanmar immigration
