Complete the online application
Go to the Indian Visa Online portal (indianvisaonline.gov.in), fill out the application form, and upload your photo and passport scan. After submitting, print the application confirmation page.

Gather your documents
Collect your passport, photos, flight itinerary, hotel bookings, bank statements, and the printed application. Make photocopies of everything — the embassy will keep some.

Book an appointment at the embassy/consulate
Contact the Indian Embassy in Cairo (or the nearest consulate) to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins are usually not accepted. You'll submit your application in person.

Attend the appointment and submit
