Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the Malawi eVisa portal (evisa.immigration.gov.mw). Fill in your details, upload a passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $50–100 depending on entry type). Wait 3–5 business days for approval. Print the approval letter.

Prepare your documents for departure
Before you leave Egypt, print your eVisa approval letter, your return ticket, and your hotel booking. Save digital copies on your phone. Check your passport has 6+ months validity and at least 1 blank page.

Arrive at Kamuzu International Airport (Lilongwe) or Chileka Airport (Blantyre)
At immigration, present your passport, eVisa approval letter, return ticket, and hotel booking. The officer will stamp you in. Expect a short queue. The process takes 5–10 minutes if your documents are ready.
