Transiting through Saudi Arabia
Egyptian citizens require a transit visa to enter Saudi Arabia, even for airside transit. However, if you stay airside and do not pass through immigration, you may not need a visa for transits under 12 hours at certain airports, but this is not guaranteed. Always check with the airline or Saudi embassy.
- Passengers with confirmed onward tickets and staying airside for less than 12 hours may be exempt at major airports, but this is not guaranteed for Egyptian nationals.
- Crew members on duty are exempt.
