What happens at the border

Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Georgia eVisa website (evisa.gov.ge). Fill in the application form with your passport details, travel dates, and accommodation info. Upload a digital passport photo. Pay the fee with a credit or debit card. Processing usually takes 5–7 business days.

Receive and print your eVisa
Once approved, you'll get the eVisa by email. Print a paper copy and also save the PDF on your phone. You'll need to show it at check-in and at Georgian border control.

Prepare your documents for departure
Before heading to the airport, gather: your passport (valid 6+ months), printed eVisa, return/onward ticket, and first-night accommodation confirmation. Keep them in your carry-on.

Arrive in Georgia and go through immigration
At Tbilisi International Airport or any other entry point, join the 'Foreign Passports' queue. Hand over your passport and eVisa. The officer may ask for your return ticket and accommodation. Answer clearly. You'll get a stamp allowing up to 30 days.
