Finnish passport holders can visit Uzbekistan without a visa for up to 30 days. This policy has been in place since 2020 and covers tourism, business, and transit. Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date.

Status
Valid passport
Must be valid for the duration of your stay
Your Finnish passport needs to be valid for the entire time you're in Uzbekistan. No minimum validity beyond your departure date is required by Uzbek law, but airlines may check for at least 3 months.
Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure from Uzbekistan
Immigration officers at Tashkent International Airport routinely ask for a confirmed onward or return ticket. Have a printed copy or a screenshot of your booking ready.
Recommended
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation
Border officials may ask where you're staying, especially if you arrive without a pre-booked hotel. A printed hotel confirmation or a letter from your host with their address works fine.
Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support yourself
Carry at least $100 USD per day of your stay in cash or have a bank statement ready. Immigration rarely checks this for Finnish passport holders, but it's better to have it.
Recommended
Passport validity is strictly enforced
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date. If it's close to expiry, renew before you go. No exceptions.
No visa needed — but keep documents handy
You don't need to apply for anything in advance. Just show up with your passport, return ticket, and accommodation confirmation. Immigration may ask for any of these.
What happens at the border
1
Arrive at the airport
At Tashkent International Airport (or any other entry point), follow signs to 'Passport Control'. There are separate queues for foreign nationals and citizens.
2
Present your passport
Hand over your passport. The officer will check your passport validity and may ask for your return ticket. No visa is needed, so no additional forms.
3
Receive entry stamp
The officer stamps your passport with the entry date and the allowed stay period (30 days). This stamp is your proof of legal entry.
4
Collect luggage and exit
After passport control, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. There's nothing special to declare for most tourists.
Enter your arrival date and we'll tell you exactly when you need to leave.
