Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
Valid passport
Must be valid for the duration of your stay
Your Greek passport needs to be valid for your entire stay in Singapore. Singapore does not enforce the 6-month validity rule for Greek nationals — as long as your passport covers your visit dates, you are fine.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure from Singapore
Immigration officers at Changi Airport routinely ask for a confirmed onward or return ticket. Have a printed or digital copy of your flight booking ready — they check this before stamping you in.Recommended
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation
Carry a printed or digital copy of your hotel reservation or a letter of invitation from your host. Officers rarely ask for it, but having it ready avoids delays at the counter.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support yourself during the stay
Have a bank statement or credit card showing you have enough funds for your trip. Singapore does not publish a minimum amount, but around 200 SGD per day is a safe benchmark if asked.Recommended
SG Arrival Card (digital pre-arrival form)
Online arrival declaration for all travellers
Complete the free SG Arrival Card online at eservices.ica.gov.sg/sgarrivalcard within 3 days before your flight. You get a QR code that speeds up immigration at Changi — no paper form needed.Open SG Arrival CardOptional
Overstaying is not worth it
Singapore is strict about overstays. Even one day can trigger a fine up to SGD 2,000 and a ban. Set a reminder to leave before day 90.
No arrival card needed
Singapore scrapped the paper arrival card. Just your passport is all you need at immigration.

What happens at the border

1
Arrive at Changi Airport
You will land at Singapore Changi Airport (SIN). Follow signs to 'Arrivals' and 'Immigration'. There are separate queues for foreigners — look for 'All Passports' or 'Foreign Visitors'.
2
Present your passport
Hand over your Greek passport to the immigration officer. They will check your passport validity, may ask about your stay duration and onward travel. Answer clearly.
3
Get your entry stamp
The officer will stamp your passport with a visit pass valid for up to 90 days. Check the stamp — it shows the exact date you must leave. Keep it safe.
4
Collect luggage and exit
After immigration, head to baggage claim, then customs. There is nothing to declare for most travellers. Exit into the arrival hall.
