Arrive at Maputo or other international airport
You'll go through immigration at Maputo International Airport (MPM) or other entry points. Join the queue for foreign passports. Have your passport, return ticket (screenshot or printed), and accommodation confirmation ready.

Present documents to immigration officer
Hand over your passport. The officer will check your passport validity, blank page, and may ask for your return ticket and hotel booking. Answer clearly. You'll receive an entry stamp valid for up to 30 days.

Collect luggage and proceed to customs
After immigration, collect your bags from the carousel. Customs is usually straightforward — just walk through unless you have something to declare.
