Jordanian passport holders need an eVisa to visit South Korea for tourism or business. You must apply and get approval online before you travel — there is no visa-on-arrival option. This rule applies in 2026.

Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Apply online before travel
Jordanian passport holders must apply for a South Korean eVisa at the official portal before departure. Submit your application at visa.go.kr, pay the fee, and wait for approval — processing takes 5-7 business days. Print the eVisa approval notice and carry it with your passport.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must cover your entire stay
Your passport needs at least 6 months of validity from your entry date into South Korea. Airlines check this at check-in, and immigration at Incheon will deny boarding if it's shorter. No blank visa pages are required for entry.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure from South Korea
Immigration officers at Incheon and Gimpo routinely ask for a confirmed onward or return ticket. Have a printed or digital copy ready showing your departure within the eVisa's validity period. Airlines also verify this before issuing a boarding pass.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation
Carry a hotel reservation confirmation or a signed letter from your host in South Korea. Immigration may ask for it during secondary screening, especially if you're staying at a private residence. A simple booking printout from Booking.com or Agoda works.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support your stay
Have a recent bank statement or credit card showing at least ₩1,000,000 (roughly $750 USD) available. Immigration rarely asks for it, but if you're flagged for secondary inspection, they'll want to see you have money for your trip. A screenshot of your banking app is acceptable.Recommended
eVisa required before travel
There is no visa-on-arrival for Jordanian passport holders. You must apply and get approval at www.visa.go.kr before you fly. Airlines will check this before issuing your boarding pass.
Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you land in South Korea, not from your departure date. If it expires sooner, renew it first.
