Prepare your documents before you fly
Make sure your passport has 6 months validity and a blank page. Bring a passport photo, $50 in crisp US dollars, and your onward ticket. Write down your hotel address.

Get the visa on arrival form on the plane or at the airport
You'll receive an arrival card and visa application form on the flight. Fill them out in black ink. If you don't get them on the plane, pick them up at the Visa on Arrival desk in the arrivals hall.

Go to the Visa on Arrival counter
At Yangon (RGN), Mandalay (MDL), or Naypyidaw (NYT) international airports, look for the Visa on Arrival counter before immigration. Hand over your passport, form, photo, and fee. The officer will process it and stamp your passport.

Proceed to immigration
After getting your visa stamp, go to the immigration desk. Present your passport and arrival card. You may be asked about your stay and onward travel. Then collect your bags and exit.
