Apply early — no shortcuts
There is no e-visa or visa-on-arrival for Kenyans. You must apply at the Austrian Embassy in Nairobi. Processing takes 15–30 days, so start at least 6 weeks before your trip. Missing documents will delay you further.

You need coverage of at least €30,000 for medical emergencies and repatriation. The embassy will check this. Buy it before your appointment — you can't skip it.
