What happens at the border

1
Apply for your visa at the Moroccan embassy in Nairobi
Visit the Embassy of Morocco in Nairobi (address: 5th Floor, International House, Mama Ngina Street). Submit your application, passport, photos, flight itinerary, and hotel booking. Pay the fee — MAD 800 for single entry, MAD 1,200 for multiple entry. Processing takes 5–10 working days.
2
Book your flight and accommodation
Once your visa is approved, book a return or onward ticket and reserve accommodation for your entire stay. Keep printed copies of both — immigration may ask to see them at the border.
3
Arrive at Mohammed V International Airport (CMN) in Casablanca
Most flights from Kenya land at CMN. Follow signs to 'Passport Control' (Passeport). Have your passport, visa, return ticket, and hotel address ready. The officer may ask about your plans — answer clearly. Expect a short queue; total time is usually 10–20 minutes.
4
Collect your luggage and exit
After passport control, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. Green channel if you have nothing to declare. Red channel if you have goods over MAD 10,000 (~$1,000 USD). Exit into the arrivals hall.
