Transiting through Australia
Cambodian citizens generally need a Transit visa (subclass 771) to pass through Australia, even if staying airside, unless they hold a valid Australian visa or are eligible for a transit waiver under specific conditions.
- Holders of a valid Australian visa (e.g., visitor, student) do not need a separate transit visa.
- Citizens of certain countries may be eligible for a transit waiver if they have a confirmed onward ticket and stay within the airport transit zone for less than 8 hours, but Cambodia is not currently listed for this waiver.
