Cambodian passport holders need an eVisa to enter Uzbekistan in 2026. You must apply online before traveling — there is no visa on arrival for KH passport holders.

Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Apply before departure
Apply for an Uzbekistan eVisa at e-visa.gov.uz. Processing takes 2–3 business days. Print the approval letter and carry it with your passport — immigration at Tashkent Airport will check it before stamping you in.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must cover entire stay
Your passport needs at least one blank page for the entry stamp. Uzbekistan does not enforce a 6-month validity rule — just make sure it covers your travel dates. Airlines may still ask for 6 months, so check with your carrier.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure
Immigration officers at Tashkent Airport routinely ask for a confirmed onward or return ticket. Have a printed copy or a screenshot ready on your phone.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Carry a printed hotel confirmation or an invitation letter from your host. Officers rarely ask, but having it ready avoids delays at the counter.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can cover your stay
Have a bank statement or cash equivalent to roughly $50 per day. Immigration rarely checks, but budget airlines flying into Tashkent may request proof before boarding.Recommended
Apply before you fly
There is no visa on arrival for Cambodian passport holders. You must get the eVisa approved before you board your flight to Uzbekistan. Airlines may deny boarding without it.
Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for 6 months from the day you land in Uzbekistan, not from the day you apply. If your passport expires sooner, renew it first.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Uzbekistan eVisa portal at e-visa.gov.uz. Fill in your personal details, upload a passport-style photo, and pay the fee. Processing typically takes 2-3 business days. You'll receive the eVisa by email as a PDF.
2
Print or save the eVisa
Print a paper copy of the eVisa and also save a digital copy on your phone. Immigration at Tashkent International Airport (TAS) or any land border will ask to see it.
3
Prepare your documents for arrival
Have your passport, printed eVisa, return ticket, and accommodation booking ready. At passport control, hand them over together. The officer will stamp you in — usually takes 1-2 minutes.
4
Activate your eSIM on landing
If you bought an Airalo eSIM, it activates automatically when you land. Otherwise, buy a local SIM at the airport kiosk. This gives you data for maps and translation.
