Visa on arrival — no advance application needed
You don't need to apply online or visit a Macau embassy. Just show up at the airport or ferry terminal with your passport and pay the fee. The whole process takes about 10–15 minutes.

Hand over your passport, arrival card, and return ticket (if asked). Pay the visa fee in cash — Macanese pataca (MOP), Hong Kong dollars (HKD), or Chinese yuan (CNY) are accepted. As of 2026, the fee is around 100 MOP.
