Fill out IMUGA online
Go to https://imuga.immigration.gov.mv and complete the traveller declaration. You can do this up to 96 hours before your flight. You'll get a QR code — save it as a screenshot or print it.

Arrive at Malé International Airport (MLE)
After landing, follow signs to 'Immigration' or 'Visa on Arrival'. There are separate queues for Maldivian citizens and foreigners — join the foreigner queue.

Present your documents
Hand over your passport, IMUGA QR code (or confirmation), return ticket, and accommodation booking. The officer will stamp your passport with a 30-day visa on arrival. No fee.

Collect baggage and exit
After the stamp, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. You're free to enter the Maldives.
