Tajikistan entry requirements for Sri Lanka passport holders
Sri Lankan passport holders can enter Tajikistan without a visa for stays up to 30 days. This applies to tourism and business visits. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your entry date.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Valid passport Must be valid for the duration of your stay | Your passport needs to be valid for at least the length of your stay in Tajikistan. Airlines at Colombo (CMB) may ask to see 6 months of validity — check with your carrier before flying. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Proof of departure from Tajikistan | Immigration at Dushanbe (DYU) routinely asks for a confirmed onward or return ticket. Have a printed copy or a digital version on your phone ready to show. | Recommended |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or invitation letter | Carry a printed hotel reservation or a letter from your host in Tajikistan. Border officers occasionally ask for it, especially if you arrive without a clear itinerary. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Show you can support yourself | Have access to at least $50 USD per day of your stay — cash, card, or bank statement. Tajik immigration rarely checks this for Sri Lankan passport holders, but it's safer to have evidence ready. | Recommended |

Risk is low in most areas, but present in southern lowlands during summer; use repellent.
