Singapore entry requirements for Malta passport holders
Malta passport holders can enter Singapore visa-free for up to 90 days. This policy has been in place since 2024 and remains unchanged. No visa application is needed — just show up with your passport and a return ticket.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Valid passport Must cover your entire stay in Singapore | Your Maltese passport needs at least one blank page for the entry stamp. Singapore does not require 6 months of validity beyond your departure date — just enough to cover your stay. Airlines sometimes enforce the 6-month rule, so check with your carrier before flying. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Immigration may ask for proof of onward travel | Singapore immigration officers routinely ask for a return or onward ticket at the counter. Have a printed or digital copy of your flight booking ready. If you're flying out to a third country, that ticket also counts. | Recommended |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or host's address | Have your hotel confirmation or the address and phone number of where you're staying written down. Immigration rarely asks for it, but if they do, you'll need a specific address — not just 'staying with a friend'. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Show you can support yourself during the stay | Carry a credit card or bank statement showing you have enough money for your trip. Immigration almost never checks this for Maltese passport holders, but it's good to have a backup if questioned. | Recommended |
