Yellow fever vaccine required

What happens at the border

Apply for e-Visa online
Go to www.etakenya.go.ke, create an account, fill in the application form, upload a passport photo and your passport data page, and pay the fee ($30 USD). Processing takes 2-10 business days. You'll receive an approval letter by email.

Print your e-Visa approval
Print the e-Visa approval letter and keep it with your passport. Immigration at JKIA (Nairobi) or Moi International Airport (Mombasa) will ask to see it before they stamp you in.

Arrive at Kenyan immigration
At the airport, join the 'Foreign Passports' queue. Hand over your passport, printed e-Visa, and return ticket if asked. The officer will take your fingerprints and a photo, then stamp your passport. Expect 15-30 minutes in line.
