Tajikistan entry requirements for Oman passport holders
Omani passport holders can visit Tajikistan without a visa for stays up to 30 days. This policy covers tourism and business visits through 2025. Arrive at Dushanbe International Airport or any border crossing with your passport and you're set.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Valid passport Must be valid for the duration of your stay | Your passport needs to be valid for at least the full period you plan to stay in Tajikistan. Airlines at check-in may ask for 6 months validity beyond your departure date — if your passport expires sooner, carry a printed copy of the Tajik visa policy page showing the 30-day visa-free rule. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Proof of departure from Tajikistan | Immigration officers at Dushanbe International Airport routinely ask for a printed or digital onward ticket showing you leave within 30 days. A bus ticket to Uzbekistan or a flight to Dubai works — just have the confirmation ready. | Recommended |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or host invitation | Have a printed hotel confirmation or a letter from your host with their address and phone number. Officers rarely check this for short stays, but if you arrive without a plan, they may ask where you're staying. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Show you can support yourself | Carry at least $50 USD per day in cash or a credit card statement. Tajikistan is cash-heavy — bring crisp US dollars or euros to exchange at the airport or local banks. | Recommended |

Health & vaccines for Tajikistan
Many tourist areas in Tajikistan are above 3,000m; acclimatize gradually and consider medication.
Avoid tap water and street food; stick to bottled water and well-cooked meals.
Low risk in most areas, but use repellent in rural lowlands during summer.
Risk is low below 2,000m in southern regions; prophylaxis not routinely recommended but consider for rural travel.
Based on CDC and WHO guidance. Consult a travel medicine clinic 4–6 weeks before departure for personalised advice.
