Iceland entry requirements for Peru passport holders
Peruvian passport holders can visit Iceland visa-free for up to 90 days. Iceland is part of the Schengen Area, so this entry also applies to the entire Schengen zone. As of 2026, no visa is needed for tourism or business stays under 90 days.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Valid passport Must cover entire stay in Schengen area | Your passport needs to be valid for the whole time you're in Iceland and the Schengen zone. Airlines at Lima (LIM) check this before boarding — if your passport expires within 3 months of your departure date, you may be denied boarding. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Outbound travel proof | Icelandic border officers at Keflavík (KEF) routinely ask for proof of onward travel. Have a printed or digital return ticket or a flight out of the Schengen area within your 90-day window. Budget airlines like Wizz Air and Play also check this at check-in. | Required |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or host invitation | Immigration at KEF may ask where you're staying, especially if you arrive without a clear itinerary. A hotel confirmation or a letter from a friend in Iceland with their address works fine. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Bank statement or cash | Officers can ask how you'll support yourself. Have a recent bank statement showing at least 10,000 ISK (~$70 USD) per day of your stay, or a credit card with a visible limit. | Recommended |
