Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Apply online before travel
Apply for an Armenian eVisa at evisa.mfa.am. The application takes about 10 minutes — you'll need a passport scan and a digital photo. Processing usually takes 3–5 working days, but can take up to 10 days during peak season. Print the approval email and carry it with your passport.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must be valid for the duration of stay
Your Philippine passport must be valid for at least the entire period you plan to stay in Armenia. Border officers at Zvartnots Airport check validity against your departure date — no extra months required beyond your stay.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure from Armenia
Immigration officers routinely ask for a confirmed onward ticket at passport control. Have a printed or digital copy of your flight booking showing departure within your eVisa validity period.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation
Carry a hotel confirmation or an invitation letter from your host in Armenia. Border officers rarely ask for it, but having it ready avoids delays if they do.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show sufficient money for your stay
Have bank statements or a credit card showing you can cover your expenses. Officers at Zvartnots rarely check, but the law allows them to ask — $50–$100 per day is a safe benchmark.Recommended
eVisa is mandatory — no visa on arrival
Philippine passport holders cannot get a visa at the airport. You must have an approved eVisa before you fly. Apply at evisa.mfa.am at least 3 business days in advance.
Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you land in Armenia, not from your departure date. If it expires sooner, renew it before applying.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for your eVisa online
Go to evisa.mfa.am, fill in your personal and passport details, upload a passport-style photo, and pay the fee (around $6–$10). Processing takes 3–5 business days. You'll receive the approved eVisa by email.
2
Prepare your documents
Print a copy of your eVisa, keep a digital backup on your phone, and have your passport, return ticket, and hotel booking ready. Screenshots of your onward ticket and accommodation are fine.
3
Arrive at Yerevan airport
At Zvartnots International Airport, join the 'Foreign Passports' queue. Hand over your passport and eVisa. The officer checks your documents, takes a photo, and stamps you in. The whole process takes 5–10 minutes.
4
Collect your luggage and exit
After passport control, pick up your bags from the carousel and walk through the green 'Nothing to Declare' channel if you have no goods to declare. Customs is usually quick.
