Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Apply online before travel
Apply for an Uzbekistan eVisa at e-visa.gov.uz at least 3 working days before departure. Processing takes 2–3 business days, and the fee varies by nationality — typically around $20–$50 USD. Print the eVisa approval letter and carry it with your passport.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must be valid for entire stay
Your Philippine passport must be valid for the full duration of your stay in Uzbekistan. No minimum validity beyond departure is required by Uzbek law, but some airlines may enforce a 6-month rule — check with your carrier before flying.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure from Uzbekistan
Immigration officers at Tashkent International Airport routinely ask for a confirmed onward or return ticket. Have a printed or digital copy of your flight itinerary ready.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Carry a printed hotel reservation or a letter of invitation from your host in Uzbekistan. Officers may ask for it during entry questioning, especially if you arrive without a clear itinerary.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show sufficient money for your stay
Have bank statements or cash equivalent to at least $50 USD per day of your stay. Immigration rarely checks this for short visits, but it can be requested if you look underfunded.Recommended
eVisa is single-entry only
The Uzbekistan eVisa allows one entry. If you leave the country (even for a day trip), you'll need a new visa to re-enter.
Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you arrive in Uzbekistan, not from your departure date. Double-check before applying.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to e-visa.gov.uz, fill in your personal and passport details, upload a passport-style photo, and pay the fee. Processing usually takes 2–3 business days, but can be faster. You'll receive the approved eVisa by email as a PDF.
2
Print your eVisa and pack documents
Print a paper copy of the eVisa approval. Also save a digital copy on your phone. Keep your return ticket and hotel booking confirmation easily accessible — either printed or as screenshots.
3
Arrive at the airport in Uzbekistan
At Tashkent International Airport (or any other entry point), proceed to the foreign passport queue. Hand over your passport, printed eVisa, and boarding pass. The officer will check your details, stamp your passport, and wave you through. Have your return ticket and hotel booking ready in case they ask.
