What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Guinean eVisa website. Fill in your personal and passport details, upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $80–$100 USD) by credit card. Processing takes 3–5 business days. You'll receive the approval by email.
2
Print or save your eVisa
Once approved, print a copy of the eVisa email and also save a PDF on your phone. You'll need to show it at airline check-in and to immigration officers at Conakry International Airport.
3
Prepare your documents for departure
Before heading to the airport, gather: your passport (valid 6+ months), printed eVisa, return/onward ticket, and first-night hotel booking. Keep them in your carry-on.
4
Arrival at Conakry International Airport
After landing, proceed to the immigration hall. Join the queue for 'eVisa' or 'Foreign Passports'. Hand over your passport, eVisa printout, and return ticket. The officer will stamp your passport. The whole process usually takes 15–30 minutes.
