Registration after 10 days
If you stay longer than 10 days, you must register with the Migration Service. Hotels do this automatically. If staying privately, go to the local OVIR office within 10 days of arrival. Failure to register can result in fines and exit delays.
Passport validity is strictly enforced
Tajikistan requires 6 months of passport validity from your entry date. Airlines check this before boarding. If your passport expires sooner, you won't be allowed to fly.

Arrive at Dushanbe International Airport
After landing, follow signs to 'Passport Control'. There are separate queues for Tajik citizens and foreigners. Join the foreigner queue (usually shorter). Have your passport and boarding pass ready.

Present your passport and ticket
Hand over your passport and your return/onward ticket (printed or on phone). The officer will check your passport validity, stamp you in, and return your passport. No forms to fill.

Collect luggage and exit
After passport control, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. Green channel if nothing to declare. You're free to enter.
