Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
Valid passport
Must be valid for the duration of your stay
Your Slovak passport needs to be valid for your entire stay in Singapore. Singapore does not require 6 months of validity beyond your departure date, but your airline might check for it at check-in.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure from Singapore
Immigration officers routinely ask for a confirmed onward or return ticket. Have a printed or digital copy of your flight booking ready — they check this at the counter before you enter the arrival hall.Recommended
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Carry a hotel confirmation or a letter from your host in Singapore. Officers rarely ask for it, but having it ready avoids delays if they do.Recommended
Proof of funds
Sufficient cash or bank statement
Have at least 1,000 SGD (or equivalent in euros) available — either in cash, a bank statement, or a credit card. Immigration may ask to see it if you look under-resourced.Recommended
SG Arrival Card (digital pre-arrival form)
Online submission within 3 days of arrival
Fill in the SG Arrival Card at eservices.ica.gov.sg/sgarrivalcard up to 3 days before you land. You get a QR code — show it at immigration to skip the paper form. It's free and takes 2 minutes.Open SG Arrival CardOptional
Passport validity is strictly enforced
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry into Singapore. Airlines check this before boarding — if your passport expires sooner, you won't be allowed to fly.
No arrival card needed
Unlike many other countries, Singapore does not require Slovak passport holders to fill out an arrival declaration or SG Arrival Card. Just walk up to the immigration counter with your passport.

What happens at the border

1
Prepare your documents before departure
Check your passport validity (6+ months from entry), print or screenshot your return ticket and first night hotel booking. Get travel insurance and an eSIM if you want to skip airport queues.
2
Arrive at Changi Airport (or other entry point)
Follow signs to 'Arrivals' and join the 'Foreign Passports' queue. Have your passport, boarding pass, and any supporting documents (return ticket, hotel booking) ready. The immigration officer will stamp your passport with a visit pass valid for up to 90 days.
3
Collect your baggage and proceed to customs
After immigration, collect your luggage from the carousel. If you have nothing to declare, use the green lane. If you have dutiable goods or restricted items, use the red lane.
