What happens at the border

1
Arrive at Faleolo International Airport (APW)
Most visitors fly into Apia's Faleolo Airport. After landing, follow signs to Immigration. There are usually two queues: one for Samoan citizens/residents and one for visitors. Join the visitor queue.
2
Present your passport and documents
Hand over your passport and any supporting documents (onward ticket, proof of funds) if requested. The officer will check your passport validity and stamp you in. This usually takes a few minutes.
3
Collect your luggage and exit
After clearing immigration, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. You'll exit into the arrivals hall where you can find taxis, car rentals, and hotel shuttles.
