Apply early — processing takes time

Biometrics are mandatory

Submit online application
Go to the IRCC website, create an account, fill out the application form, upload your documents, and pay the visa fee (CAD 100 for a single entry, CAD 500 for multiple entries).

Book biometrics appointment
After submitting, you'll receive a Biometric Instruction Letter. Book an appointment at the VAC in Ankara, Istanbul, or Izmir. Bring the letter, your passport, and the appointment confirmation.

Attend biometrics appointment
Go to the VAC at your scheduled time. They'll take your fingerprints and photo. The process takes about 15 minutes. You'll get a receipt.
