Apply early — don't cut it close
South Africa's eVisa system can be slow during peak periods. Apply at least 4–6 weeks before your trip. Booking flights before your visa is approved is risky — if there's a delay, you could lose money.
The eVisa is not extendable

Check your passport expiry first
