Uzbek passport holders need a visa to enter Andorra. Since Andorra has no airport, you'll fly into Barcelona (Spain) or Toulouse (France) and cross the border by road — you'll need a Schengen visa to enter those countries first. As of 2025, there is no Andorran embassy in Uzbekistan; you apply for the Schengen visa at the embassy of Spain or France.

Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
Visa application
Visa required
Andorra has no airport — you enter via France or Spain. Apply for a Schengen visa at the French or Spanish embassy in Uzbekistan. Andorra itself does not issue visas; your Schengen visa covers entry.Andorra visa infoRequired
Valid passport
Must be valid for entire stay
Your passport must be valid for the entire duration of your stay in Andorra. Since you enter through France or Spain, border officers apply Schengen rules — 3 months validity beyond departure is the standard.Required
Return or onward ticket
Required for Schengen entry
Immigration at French or Spanish border checkpoints will ask for proof of onward travel. Have a return ticket or a ticket to a non-Schengen country ready.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Carry a printed hotel reservation or a letter from your host in Andorra. Border officers in France or Spain may ask for it during Schengen entry checks.Recommended
Proof of funds
Bank statement or cash
Have a bank statement showing at least €50–€100 per day of your stay. Schengen border officers occasionally ask for proof of sufficient funds.Recommended
Multiple-entry visa is mandatory
A single-entry Schengen visa will not work. You must have a visa marked 'MULT' because you'll leave the Schengen area to enter Andorra and then re-enter it to fly home.
No airport in Andorra
Andorra has no commercial airport. You must fly into Barcelona (Spain) or Toulouse (France) and then take a bus or drive. Plan your Schengen visa application accordingly.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for a Schengen visa
Submit your application at the Spanish or French embassy in Tashkent. Book an appointment online, pay the €80 fee, and provide your passport, photos, travel insurance, flight itinerary, and hotel bookings. Processing takes 15 calendar days.
2
Fly to Barcelona or Toulouse
Once your Schengen visa is approved, book a flight to Barcelona-El Prat (BCN) or Toulouse-Blagnac (TLS). At passport control, show your visa, return ticket, and accommodation details. The officer will stamp you into Schengen.
3
Travel to Andorra by road
From Barcelona, take a direct bus (Andbus, 3 hours) or rent a car. From Toulouse, buses run daily (2.5 hours). At the Andorran border, there is no passport check — you simply drive or walk through. Keep your passport and visa handy anyway.
4
Enter Andorra
There is no formal immigration checkpoint when entering Andorra. You'll just cross the border freely. Your Schengen visa must remain valid for the entire duration of your Andorran stay.
5
Return to Schengen and fly home
When leaving Andorra, you'll re-enter Spain or France. At the border, your passport may be checked — ensure your Schengen visa is still valid. Then proceed to the airport for your flight back.

Frequently asked questions

No, Andorra does not issue its own visas. You need a valid multiple-entry Schengen visa from Spain or France to transit through those countries. Once you have that, you can enter Andorra freely.
Andorra has no embassies abroad. You must apply at the Spanish or French embassy in Tashkent. Choose the country where you'll spend more time or enter first.
There is no official limit for Andorra itself, but your Schengen visa's validity and the 90/180-day rule for the Schengen area apply. Since you'll re-enter Schengen to leave, your total time in Schengen + Andorra cannot exceed 90 days in any 180-day period.
You won't be able to re-enter Spain or France after visiting Andorra. You must have a multiple-entry visa. If you already have a single-entry visa, you'll need to apply for a new one.
No, there is no formal passport control at the Andorran border. You simply drive or walk through. However, Spanish or French police may conduct random checks on the road, so carry your passport and visa at all times.
Andorra does not have a visa extension system for tourists. Your stay is tied to your Schengen visa's validity. If you need more time, you'd have to leave the Schengen area and re-enter with a new visa.
Overstaying can result in a ban from the Schengen area. Andorra shares immigration data with Spain and France, so an overstay will be recorded. Leave before your visa expires.
