The whole process at Macau airport usually takes 10–15 minutes. Just have your documents ready and join the correct queue.

What happens at the border

1
Arrive at Macau International Airport
After landing, follow signs to 'Immigration' or 'Arrivals'. You'll see a separate queue for 'Visa on Arrival' — join that line, not the regular passport control.
2
Present your documents and pay the fee
Hand over your passport, return ticket (printed or on phone), and accommodation booking. Pay the visa fee in cash. The officer will process and stamp your passport.
3
Proceed to passport control
Once you have the visa stamp, go to the regular passport control queue. The officer will check your passport and let you through.
4
Collect luggage and exit
After passport control, pick up your bags from the carousel and walk through customs. You're in Macau.
