What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Uzbekistan eVisa portal at e-visa.gov.uz. Fill in your personal details, upload a passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $20–$50 depending on processing speed) with a credit card. You'll receive a confirmation email.
2
Wait for approval
Standard processing takes 2–3 business days. You can pay extra for express (24 hours) or urgent (a few hours). Check your email (including spam) for the eVisa PDF. Print it out and save a digital copy on your phone.
3
Arrive at the airport
At Tashkent International Airport (or any land border), go to the immigration counter. Hand over your passport and printed eVisa. The officer will scan your passport, stamp it, and let you through. No separate visa-on-arrival queue.
4
Show your return ticket and accommodation
Immigration may ask for proof of onward travel and where you're staying. Have your return ticket and hotel booking confirmation ready on your phone or printed. This is routine — just show them.
