At check-in, the airline will verify your passport validity and onward ticket. They may also ask for proof of accommodation. Have everything ready to avoid delays.

Arrive at a Tanzanian airport
At Julius Nyerere International Airport (Dar es Salaam), Kilimanjaro International Airport, or Zanzibar's Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, follow signs to 'Immigration' or 'Passport Control'. Join the queue for foreign nationals.

Present your documents to immigration
Hand over your passport and any requested supporting documents. The officer will stamp you in. You'll be asked the purpose of your visit and how long you plan to stay. Answer clearly and honestly.

Collect your luggage and exit
After immigration, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. If you have nothing to declare, use the green channel. You're now free to enter Tanzania.
