30 days is strict — no extensions

Keep your departure card stub
When you arrive, immigration gives you a small departure card. Keep it with your passport. You'll need to hand it back when you leave South Korea. Losing it means extra paperwork at the airport.

What happens at the border

1
Arrive at Incheon or other airport
Most Cyprus travellers fly into Incheon International Airport (Seoul). Follow signs to 'Foreign Passports' queue. Have your passport, return ticket screenshot, and first night accommodation address ready. The officer will take your fingerprints and a photo. The whole process usually takes 10–15 minutes.
2
Receive entry stamp
The officer stamps your passport with a 30-day visa-free entry. Check the stamp says '30 days' before leaving the counter. If it says less, ask for correction immediately.
3
Collect luggage and exit
After immigration, collect your bags from the carousel and walk through customs. Use the green channel if you have nothing to declare. You're free to enter South Korea.

You will be denied boarding by the airline and refused entry by immigration. Renew your passport before travelling. No exceptions.
Not officially required for Cyprus passport holders. But if you look like you might work illegally or overstay, an officer can ask for proof. Having a credit card and a few hundred dollars in cash is sensible.
Yes. The same visa-free rules apply at all international airports in South Korea. Jeju Island also has its own visa-free policy for many nationalities, but Cyprus passport holders already get the standard 30-day visa-free entry nationwide.
You'll be fined approximately 100,000–200,000 KRW (about €70–€140) per day of overstay, depending on the length. You may also be detained, deported, and banned from re-entering South Korea for up to 5 years. Don't risk it.
