Land at an Egyptian airport
After deplaning, follow signs to 'Visa on Arrival' or 'Bank' before immigration. This applies at Cairo, Hurghada, Sharm el-Sheikh, Luxor, and Marsa Alam.

Buy the visa sticker
Go to the bank kiosk (usually near immigration). Pay USD 25 cash for a single-entry visa. You'll receive a sticker — do not peel it yet.

Proceed to immigration
Hand your passport, the visa sticker (still attached to its backing), and your boarding pass to the officer. They'll affix the sticker and stamp it.

Collect your passport and enter
The officer returns your passport with the visa inside. You're free to proceed to baggage claim and customs.
