Czech passport holders can enter Morocco without a visa for stays up to 90 days. As of 2026, this visa-free policy remains in place for tourism and business visits. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry.

Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
Valid passport
Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your departure date from Morocco
Your passport needs at least two blank pages for entry and exit stamps. Airlines check this at check-in — if your passport expires within 6 months of your return date, they will deny boarding.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure from Morocco
Immigration officers routinely ask for a return or onward ticket. A flight reservation or bus ticket out of Morocco within 90 days of arrival satisfies this. Without one, you risk being refused entry.Recommended
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation
Have a printed or digital hotel reservation for your first few nights. If staying with friends, carry their address and phone number. Officers rarely ask, but having it ready avoids delays.Recommended
Proof of funds
Cash, card, or bank statement
Carry at least €100 or equivalent in cash per day of your stay, plus a credit or debit card. Immigration may ask to see you have enough for your trip, especially if you arrive without a return ticket.Recommended
Passport validity is strictly enforced
Moroccan immigration counts 6 months from your date of entry, not your departure. If your passport expires sooner, you will be denied entry. Check your passport now.
Keep digital copies of everything
Save screenshots of your return ticket, accommodation booking, and passport info page on your phone. If your phone dies, a printed copy in your bag is a smart backup.

What happens at the border

1
Prepare your documents before departure
Check your passport validity (6+ months from entry date) and that you have at least 1 blank page. Book your return/onward ticket and first night accommodation. Save screenshots of both to your phone. Consider getting travel insurance and a local eSIM.
2
Arrive at the airport in Morocco
At Casablanca, Marrakech, or any other Moroccan airport, follow signs to 'Passport Control' or 'Arrivals'. There are separate queues for Moroccan citizens and foreigners. Join the 'Foreign Passports' line.
3
Present your passport and documents
Hand over your passport. The officer may ask for your return ticket and accommodation details. Answer clearly. They'll stamp your passport with a 90-day entry stamp. No visa fee is charged.
4
Collect your luggage and exit
After passport control, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. You're now legally in Morocco. Your 90-day countdown starts from the entry stamp date.

Frequently asked questions

No. Czech citizens can enter Morocco visa-free for up to 90 days for tourism or business. Just show your passport on arrival.
No, the visa-free stay is not extendable. If you want to stay longer, you'd need to leave and re-enter (but be aware that immigration may question frequent back-to-back visits). For longer stays, apply for a residence permit at a Moroccan police station before your 90 days expire.
You'll likely be denied boarding by the airline or entry by Moroccan immigration. Renew your passport before traveling.
Yes, immigration may ask for proof of onward travel. Have a return or onward ticket booked and a screenshot saved on your phone.
No, it's not officially required for visa-free entry. But it's strongly recommended — medical costs in private hospitals can be high, and public hospitals may not accept foreign insurance.
Technically, the visa-free entry is for tourism and business visits only. Remote work for a foreign employer is in a gray area. Many digital nomads do it without issues, but officially you'd need a work permit. Morocco has a digital nomad visa program, but it's separate from the tourist entry.
You'll face a fine of about 600 MAD (around €55) per day of overstay, and you may be banned from re-entering Morocco for a period. Always leave before your 90 days are up.
