Overstaying is costly
Your 30-day stay is fixed. Overstaying even a day can result in a fine and a ban from re-entering Georgia. Set a reminder to leave on time.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Georgian eVisa portal (evisa.gov.ge), fill in the application form, upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport's bio page, and pay the fee (around 20-25 USD). Processing usually takes 5-7 business days, but it can take longer, so apply at least 2 weeks before your trip.
2
Receive your eVisa by email
Once approved, you'll get a PDF via email. Check all details (name, passport number, dates) — any mistake means you'll be turned away. Print a copy and also save it on your phone as backup.
3
Travel to Georgia
Fly into Tbilisi International Airport (TBS) or any other Georgian entry point. At passport control, present your passport and the eVisa (printed or on your phone). The officer will scan your passport, verify the eVisa, and stamp you in. Keep the stamp — you'll need it when you leave.
4
Enjoy your stay — and leave on time
You're allowed up to 30 days. Overstaying even a day can result in fines or a ban. If you need to stay longer, you can't extend this eVisa — you'd have to leave and reapply.
