Kazakhstan passport holders can visit Argentina visa-free for up to 90 days. This policy has been in place for years and continues through 2026. Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date and you have a return or onward ticket.

Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
Valid passport
Must be valid for the duration of your stay
Argentina does not require 6 months of passport validity beyond your departure date — just needs to cover your stay. Airlines may still enforce the 6-month rule, so check with your carrier before flying.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure from Argentina
Immigration officers at Ezeiza and Aeroparque routinely ask for a return or onward ticket. Have a printed or digital copy ready — a bus ticket to a neighboring country also works.Recommended
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation
Not always requested, but some officers ask for a hotel reservation or a letter from your host. Book refundable accommodation if you want to be safe.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support yourself during your stay
Officers rarely ask, but having a bank statement or credit card showing available funds (around $500–$1,000 USD equivalent) covers you if they do.Recommended
Keep your return ticket handy
Immigration at Ezeiza often asks to see your onward or return ticket. Have it ready on your phone or printed. A screenshot works fine.
Overstaying is not extendable
The 90-day visa-free period cannot be extended. If you need more time, you must leave Argentina before day 90 and re-enter, or apply for a visa beforehand.

What happens at the border

1
Arrival at Buenos Aires Ezeiza (EZE) or other airport
You'll go through immigration control. Have your passport and return ticket ready. The officer will stamp your passport with a 90-day entry. The process usually takes 5-10 minutes.
2
Customs and baggage claim
After immigration, collect your bags and proceed to customs. There's a red/green channel system. If you have nothing to declare, go through the green channel.
3
Exit Argentina
When leaving, you'll go through immigration again. No special forms needed. Just your passport. Make sure you haven't overstayed the 90 days.
