Frequently asked questions

No. The visa-free stay is not extendable. You must leave Colombia before day 90. Overstaying can result in fines (around 2-3 USD per day over) and a potential ban from re-entering Colombia. If you want to stay longer, apply for a visa at a Colombian consulate before traveling.
Not required for Kazakhstan passport holders entering directly from Kazakhstan. However, if you've recently been to a country with yellow fever (e.g., Brazil, Peru, parts of Africa), you may be asked for proof of vaccination. Check with your airline.
You may be denied boarding by your airline or delayed at immigration. It's free and takes 10 minutes online. Do it within 72 hours before your flight. No exceptions.
No. Immigration strictly enforces the 6-month validity rule. If your passport expires sooner, renew it before you travel. Even one day less can result in denial of entry.
No. You either enter visa-free (which you qualify for) or you need a visa in advance. There is no visa-on-arrival option for Kazakhstan passport holders.
Not officially required for visa-free entry, but immigration officers may ask how you'll support yourself. Having a credit card or a few hundred dollars in cash is sensible. No specific amount is mandated.
Technically, the tourist visa-free entry is for tourism only. Remote work for a foreign employer is a gray area. Many digital nomads do it without issues, but officially you're not allowed to work for a Colombian company. Colombia has a digital nomad visa if you plan to stay longer.
