Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Visa on arrival
Apply online at evisa.gov.kh for $30 USD. Processing takes 3 working days — print the approval letter and bring it with your passport. Alternatively, get a visa on arrival at Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, or Sihanoukville airports for the same $30 USD (cash only, bring exact change).Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must be valid for 6 months beyond arrival
Your Lithuanian passport needs at least 6 months of validity from your entry date into Cambodia. Airlines check this at check-in — if your passport expires sooner, you will be denied boarding.Required
Return or onward ticket
Required for visa on arrival
Immigration officers at Cambodian airports ask for proof of a flight out of the country. Have a printed or digital copy of your onward ticket ready — a one-way ticket without an exit flight will get you refused entry.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host address
Carry a printed hotel confirmation or a letter of invitation from your host. Immigration rarely asks for it, but budget airlines sometimes check before letting you board.Recommended
Proof of funds
At least $1,000 USD or equivalent
Have cash or a bank statement showing at least $1,000 USD per person. Immigration officers rarely request it, but you need to show you can support yourself during your stay.Recommended
Passport validity is strictly enforced
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your entry date. If it's less, you'll be denied boarding by the airline or turned away at immigration. No exceptions.
Cash is king at the visa counter
The visa-on-arrival counter only accepts cash — US dollars. Have $30 or $35 ready in small bills. ATMs are available after you clear immigration, not before.

What happens at the border

1
Arrive at the airport or land border
At Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, or Sihanoukville airports, follow signs to 'Visa on Arrival'. At land borders (e.g., Poipet from Thailand), look for the visa counter before immigration.
2
Fill out the visa application form
Grab a form at the counter. It asks for basic info: name, passport number, flight details, hotel address. Fill it in with a black pen.
3
Submit form, photo, and passport
Hand everything to the officer. They'll process it in 5–15 minutes. If you don't have a photo, they'll take one for $1–2.
4
Pay the fee and collect your passport
Pay in US dollars. Keep the receipt. They'll call your name or number. Check the visa sticker for correct dates before walking away.
5
Proceed to immigration
Now go to the immigration counter with your passport and visa sticker. They'll stamp you in. That's it — you're in Cambodia.
