Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
Valid passport
Must be valid for the duration of your stay
Your Lithuanian passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months beyond your departure date from Singapore. Immigration officers at Changi check this strictly — if your passport expires sooner, you will be denied boarding.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure from Singapore
Immigration will ask for a confirmed onward ticket before they stamp you in. Have a printed or digital copy of your flight booking out of Singapore — they check this at the counter, not just at check-in.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation
Carry a printed hotel confirmation or a letter from your host with their address and contact number. Immigration officers occasionally ask for this, especially if you arrive without a clear itinerary.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support yourself
Have access to at least 1,000 SGD (or equivalent in euros) for your stay — a bank statement or credit card works. Immigration rarely asks, but they can deny entry if you look like you might work illegally or have no money.Recommended
Passport validity is strictly enforced
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date you arrive. If it expires sooner, you will be denied entry at Changi Airport — no exceptions. Check your passport before booking flights.
No arrival card needed
Singapore scrapped the paper arrival card for most nationalities. You don't need to fill anything out online before landing. Just walk up to the immigration counter with your passport and boarding pass.

What happens at the border

1
Arrive at Changi Airport
You'll go through immigration at Changi Airport (Terminal 1, 2, 3, or 4 depending on your airline). Follow the 'Foreign Passports' signs. The queue moves fast — usually 10–20 minutes.
2
Present your passport and boarding pass
Hand over your passport and boarding pass. The officer will scan your passport, take a photo, and may ask a few questions (purpose of visit, where you're staying, when you leave). Answer clearly and briefly.
3
Get your entry stamp
The officer stamps your passport with the date of entry and the allowed stay (usually 90 days). Check the stamp before walking away — make sure the dates are correct.
4
Collect luggage and exit
After immigration, collect your bags from the carousel, then walk through customs (green channel if nothing to declare). You're now in Singapore.
