Maldives entry requirements for Lithuania passport holders
Lithuanian passport holders can get a visa on arrival in the Maldives, free of charge, for up to 30 days. This policy has been in place since 2024 and applies at all international airports and seaports. You just need a valid passport, a return ticket, and a completed IMUGA declaration.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Valid passport Must be valid for the duration of your stay | Your passport needs to be valid for the entire time you plan to be in the Maldives. No minimum validity beyond your stay is required by immigration, but some airlines may ask for 6 months — check with your carrier before check-in. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Proof of departure from Maldives | Immigration officers at Velana International Airport routinely ask for a confirmed onward or return ticket. Have a printed copy or a screenshot ready on your phone — they check this before stamping you in. | Required |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel or resort booking confirmation | Most visitors arrive with a resort or guesthouse booking, and immigration may ask for it — especially if you're taking a domestic flight or speedboat transfer. Keep a printed confirmation or digital copy handy. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Evidence of sufficient money for your stay | Officers rarely ask for proof of funds, but having a bank statement or credit card showing available balance avoids any hassle. No specific minimum amount is published — just show you can cover your stay. | Recommended |
