What happens at the border

1
Apply for your e-Visa online
Go to evisa.mfa.am, fill in your details, upload a passport-style photo, and pay the fee. Processing usually takes 2–5 business days. You'll receive the visa by email — print a copy or save it on your phone.
2
Prepare your documents for arrival
Before you fly, make sure you have: your passport (valid 6+ months), the e-Visa confirmation, a return/onward ticket, and your first night's accommodation booking. Keep digital copies on your phone and a printed backup.
3
Arrive at Zvartnots International Airport (EVN)
After landing, follow signs to 'Passport Control'. Join the queue for foreign passports. Have your passport, e-Visa, and return ticket ready. The officer may ask your purpose of visit and where you're staying. Answer clearly and briefly.
4
Collect your luggage and exit
Once your passport is stamped, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. There's usually nothing to declare for personal items. Exit into the arrivals hall where taxis and transport are available.
