What happens at the border

1

Collect all the required documents listed above. Make sure your passport has at least 6 months validity and 1 blank page. Photocopy everything — you'll need copies for the embassy.
2
Submit your application at the Singapore embassy or consulate
There is no Singapore embassy in Nigeria. You'll need to apply at the nearest Singapore High Commission or embassy — typically in Accra, Ghana, or London, UK. Contact them first to confirm their application process, whether you can apply by mail or need to appear in person, and their exact fee. Some applicants use a visa agency to handle this.
3
Wait for processing
Processing typically takes 3 to 5 working days, but can take longer if additional checks are needed. The embassy may contact you for an interview or ask for more documents. Don't book non-refundable flights until you have the visa.
4
Receive your visa and travel
Once approved, you'll get a visa sticker or an electronic visa (e-Visa) sent to your email. Print it out and carry it with your passport. At Changi Airport, go to the 'Foreign Visitors' queue, present your passport and visa, and you'll be stamped in. Have your return ticket and hotel booking ready — immigration officers may ask to see them.
