Submit application at Romanian embassy
Book an appointment at the Romanian embassy in Muscat (or the nearest Romanian consulate if you're elsewhere). Bring all original documents plus photocopies. The officer will check your file and take your biometrics (fingerprints and photo).

Standard processing takes 15 calendar days. It can take up to 30 days if more checks are needed. You'll get a call or email when your passport is ready for collection.

At the airport (usually Bucharest Otopeni or Cluj-Napoca), go to the 'All Passports' queue. Hand over your passport with the visa. The officer may ask for your return ticket and accommodation. Answer clearly and you'll be through in a few minutes.
