What happens at the border

1
Prepare your documents before you fly
Check your passport validity (6 months from entry), print or download your return ticket and hotel booking. If you're staying with friends, have their address and phone number written down.
2
Fill out the arrival card on the plane
You'll get a small white arrival card on the flight. Fill it out with your flight number, accommodation address, and the purpose of your visit (usually 'Tourism'). Keep it with your passport.
3
Go through immigration at Incheon or Gimpo
Follow the 'Foreign Passport' signs. Hand over your passport and the arrival card. The officer may ask where you're staying and how long you plan to stay. Answer clearly. They'll stamp your passport with a 90-day entry permit.
4
Collect your bags and exit
After clearing immigration, grab your luggage from the carousel and walk through the 'Nothing to Declare' green channel unless you have items to declare. That's it — you're in!
