Present your documents
Hand over your passport, completed arrival card (if provided), and your return ticket if asked. The officer will check your passport validity and blank page.
3
Pay the fee and get your visa
Pay AMD 15,000 in cash. The officer will issue a visa sticker or stamp valid for up to 21 days. Keep the receipt if given.
4

Yes, you can extend it once for up to 60 additional days. Visit the Migration Service office in Yerevan (address: 55 Nalbandyan Street). The extension fee is around AMD 15,000. Apply before your current visa expires.
Land borders (e.g., from Georgia at Bagratashen or from Iran at Meghri) also offer visa on arrival. The process is the same — same fee, same requirements. Just look for the visa counter before passport control.
If you're transiting by air and staying airside (not passing through passport control), you don't need a visa. But if you leave the transit area, you'll need a visa on arrival.
No. Only cash is accepted — Armenian dram or US dollars. Have the exact amount ready to avoid delays. ATMs are available at the airport but it's easier to bring cash.
You will likely be denied entry. The 6-month validity rule is strictly enforced. Renew your passport before traveling.
Armenia does not offer an e-visa for Turkish passport holders. The visa on arrival is the standard method. You can also apply for a visa at an Armenian embassy abroad, but that takes longer and requires an appointment.
